October 20,2015 NCA&T Student Presentations and Applied Technology Lab Tour

Smith Hall, NCA&T State University

Agenda:

SME Chapter # 44 students will meet Senior Chapter # 82 members and guests at the Smith Hall entrance at 6:00 PM and take you on a tour of the 3D printing lab, and the Motorsports lab where there is a Haas CNC machine.

The students will then take you upstairs to the second floor of Smith Hall Room 216 (not 214, next door) where we will have pizza and soft drinks.

After eating, students will present PowerPoint slides of some of what they're doing at A&T in the School of Technology.

After 2 or 3 presentations they will escort you to the third and final lab in Smith Hall Room 313 (third floor) where you will see a short student demonstration of robots interacting with a conveyor system.

That will conclude the evening. The whole thing is expected to last approximately 1 1/2 hour. We hope that you all will enjoy yourselves as you experience the "Home of the Aggies".
